Currently Blackberry pearl has four models, each with its uniques features and differences, here are the list:

• Pearl 1 (8100)

• Pearl 2 (8220)

• Pearl 3G (9100)

Here is a brief review of the above listed blackberry pearl models,

Blackberry Pearl 1 (8100 series):

Blacknerry pearl 8100 its seen as the begining of many blackberry phones features as its the first  trackball, the first camera, the first media player. pearl 8100 was the first RIM product produced for casaul audience without placing the business users in mind, It remain the most popular. The screen measures 240×260 pixels. T-Mobile carried the original 8100, and AT&T followed soon after. Blackberry 8100 series started developing as its first model 8110 added GPS, follow by 8120 which added  WiFi but no GPS, 8130 which was operated on CDMA network and with GPS.

Blackberry Pearl 2 (8220 series)

Pearl 2 or blackberry pearl flip 8200 series, its the first ever blackberry phone with a flip feature, The screen was a bit changed and improved to 240×320 pixels unlike 8100 series, with internal memory 128MB, All the keyboard is the same, but with no GPS but later RIM introduce 8230 which is is a blackberry pearl flip with GPS instaed WI-FI runing o a CDMA network.

Blackberry Pearl 3G (9100 series)

As blackberry pearl is the most popular of blackberry phones, in 2010 RIM released its ever first 3G version, with a very high 3G speed data, the processor its The processor is a faster 624 MHz, and the internal memory is a greater 256MB, As it is seen as an upgrade to the original blackberry pearl.
